  • Allison Bailey

    NEWSLETTER EDITOR

    Allison Bailey is a long-time advocate for insulin affordability and access to medicines, with several years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in the healthcare sphere. She has lived with type 1 diabetes since 2000.

  • Sarah Fletcher

    UX WRITER & DESIGNER

    Sarah Fletcher was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 15 years old. Since then, she has volunteered for several diabetes nonprofits and has worked to raise awareness about the insulin crisis. As a multi passionate creative, you can find her working on a variety of projects, especially ones that have a meaningful impact on the world.

  • Hilary Koch

    POLICY DIRECTOR

    Hilary Koch has worked to help people gain access to more affordable prescription drugs and medical care for years. She lives in the state of Maine where she helped pass an insulin safety net bill, an insulin copay cap, and a Kevin’s Law. Most recently, she served on a state commission to investigate the feasibility of Maine producing insulin. She is the parent of a child who has lived with type 1 diabetes for over 14 years.

  • Christine Fallabel

    TREASURER

    Christine Fallabel has been living with type 1 diabetes since 2000. She's a health and science writer and has been featured in Diabetes Daily Grind, Insulin Nation, and Diabetics Doing Things, and is a regular contributor to Diabetes Strong, T1D Exchange, and Healthline.

    She earned her Master of Public Health from Temple University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Delaware. She currently serves on the board of directors for Connected in Motion and is an advisor for Medicines Patent Pool, a United Nations-backed public health organization that works to increase access to and facilitate the development of lifesaving medications for low and middle-income countries.

    In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her husband in the mountains of Colorado, tinkering with her DIY Loop insulin pump, and drinking strong coffee, preferably next to a campfire.

  • Craig Stubing

    FOUNDER & CEO

    Craig Stubing was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 13 years old. After producing a video advocating for Medicare coverage of CMGs, he discovered the power of sharing stories to help us empathize, educate, and advocate. Craig is the Executive Producer and host of the Beta Cell Podcast, Co-Founder of Type One Run, and Founder of the Beta Cell Foundation.

  • Jaclyn Swe

    SECRETARY

    Jaclyn Swe was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2001. She and Craig sat next to each other on flight to Hong Kong in 2011, but they had no idea they both had T1D until they met again when Jaclyn joined the Los Angeles Type One Run group to train for the New York City Marathon.

    Jaclyn began her legal career working in a boutique law firm in Los Angeles where she handled large assets and highly contested family and civil litigation. After years in private practice, she transitioned into the court reporting and legal services space.
